Need to ensure that the technology transformation speaks to strategic alignment?

I have expertise in business case development, that ensures the following topics are clearly articulated:

  • Problem statement/opportunity

  • Options analysis

  • Cost benefit analysis

  • Risks and constraints

  • High level implementation plan

DISCOVERY& SHAPING

My expertise in the discovery and project shaping phase of a tech project involves conducting a detailed current state assessment centred around people, process and technology. I combine a strong process foundation with a people-centred, emotionally aware approach. Depending on the complexity of the project or transformation, a discovery phase could be a 8 - 12 week journey in which I closely collaborate with stakeholders, business users, architects, product/project manager(s), at the end of which I provide:

  • clearly articulated problem statement

  • clearly defined project scope and boundaries

  • a high level set of functional and non-functional requirements

  • process flow diagrams

  • tech architecture overview

  • user journeys, personas, low fidelity mockups (for UX centred projects)

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

Having extensively worked as a lead business analyst and scrum master in my early career as well as having supported product leadership in creating and grooming product backlogs, I am well versed with all aspects of agile squad formation and agile project delivery. I am a certified LEGO serious play workshop facilitator.

I can support project delivery teams by:

  • Setting up ways of working and tooling such as JIRA, Confluence, Miro

  • Establishing agile ceremonies and squad sprints/cadence 

  • ​Mentoring business analysts 

  • Coaching on backlog design and management

  • Squad design

  • Creating QA and UAT frameworks where budgets do not support dedicated testing​ hires
